Every year thousands of tons of waste are generated due to use of disposable table ware made from plastic and Styrofoam.  The need of the hour is to make products that are biodegradable and/or can be easily recycled for future use. We at Casetta have started the venture with this as one of driving factors to provide the Indian and overseas market with options that are at par on performance and quality with the plastic counterparts. Casetta at present is offering products made from Areca Leaf and Bagasse that cater to the packaging needs while Edible products made from Sorghum (Jowar flour) and Vegetable pulp serves as replacement to plastic cutlery. 

The packaging options provided by Casetta are made of natural raw materials. Areca plates are made from the shredded leaves of the Areca Palm Tree. No trees are chopped or cut at any stage during the making process and only shredded areca leaves are used to make this product. Bagasse is the fibrous residue left over after the sugar cane has been crushed and the sugar extracted.
